We ran across a very useful infographic briefly presenting 10 best beaches and surfing spots in Portugal. A privileged geographical position, good weather and various waves makes Portugal’s coast perfect for surfing enthusiasts. Offering more than 600 kilometers of open beachbreake and concealed bays, this adventure extended-hotspot captured our undivided attention.

The infographic uploaded below was put together by Momondo and covers basic information about the following surfing destinations: Sagres (also known as the epicentre of the Algarve surfing scene), Praia do Amado – Costa Vicentina with its strong currents and steep waves, Arrifana Beach, Praia de Carcavelos located close to Lisbon, Praia do Norte, Ericeira, Peniche, Espinho, Praia do Cabedelo and Paúl do Mar in Madeira.
