travel Tree house glamping

Usually linked to a sense of childhood refuge or playfulness, trees are most of all a symbol of freedom, often took for granted nowadays. The Belgian guys at Trees and People started to reconsider the contemporary relationship between trees and humans. They came up with a cool project: Dom’Up.

The idea behind ‘Dom’Up is to create an economic and environmentally responsible alternative to tree houses. The octagonal construction can be fixed on two trees without leaving any trace on the ground, thus minimizing its impact on the environment.

We find this new glamping concept perfect for those who dream of new outdoor sleeping experiences. How do you find it?

P.S. You may remember Trees and People from a previous post featured on Tourism on the Edge. The team has also created a huge nest for cinema enthusiasts that we included in Four Crazy Cinema Ideas.
