Unusual Accommodation: Yunak Cave Hotel, Turkey
It rarely happens that people actually visit a location because they have this great place where they can spend the night. In this post we would like to present Yunak Cave Hotel in Turkey which we think fits this profile. We like to think of it as “unusual accommodation” because it has a very uncommon architecture and a unique style.
Yunak Hotel is located in Cappadocia (aka “region of exceptional natural wonders”), an ancient Greek city on the current territory of Turkey, in eastern Anatolia and it consists of six cave-shaped homes with no less than 30 single rooms, some of them dating back as far as the 5′th century.

The exterior of this hotel looks absolutely stunning. All rooms are recently renovated in the Ottoman style while still having a cave-like feel. Narrow passages and fascinating stone labyrinths lead the travelers to their designated rooms. Check out the photos and tell us what you think. In case you are interesting in finding out more information about this place, here is the hotel’s official web page.

Yunak serves as accommodation for tourists trying to discover Cappadocia. There are many things one can do in this beautiful part of Turkey, such as trekking, hot air ballooning, cycling and horseback riding.

Nice hotel indeed, kind of like the ice hotels, but you can use this in summer also!
