Without trying to exaggerate in any way with this clisheeic saying, this could be you :
Tandem Skydiving basically means that all your responsibility (jumping, pushing buttons on time) is passed on to another person. This particular program involves sky diving over the Kilimanjaro Mountains ( 19300 ft high, btw). The exact place for take-off is Moshi Aerodrome in Tanzania, Africa. Getting there is possible by car, but we recommend taking a low cost fare to Moshi – Kilimanjaro International Airport, just miles away from the scene of the entertainment area. There are plenty of links to low cost airlines in the right, feel free to access them. A 10 minutes practice before taking off.
You don’t have to take any classes in order to practice tandem skydiving. All it takes is a 10 minutes training in advance.
And now some information from the organizers:
“SKYDIVE FACTS
The scenic flight time to altitude is 30 minutes
The freefall lasts up to 35 seconds
Freefall speed is 120 miles an hour ( 200 kilometres an hour)
The parachute is opened at 5000 feet
Parachute flight is approx 4 – 5 minutes
Landings are typically gentle and right on target
Bookings are essential for Sky Dive.”
You can book by clicking on “via” and then sending an e-mail to the address shown in the bottom left.
Price : $299 for one jump (training included). You will find more information about skydiving over Kilimanjaro here.
