Skylodge Adventure Suites is an extreme accommodation “resort” which consists of three fully equipped capsules that can sleep up to 8 people. Vertically hanged 400 meters up on a wall, with a 300 degree view above the Incas Sacred Valley and Urubamba River near Cuzco, Peru, these units offer spectacular perspectives. This is the first hanging lodge in the world, a daring adventure project developed by two passionate climbers that tried to reinvent the idea of mountain tourism.
To sleep at Skylodge, people must go through a true odyssey in which they climb 400 meters of via ferratas. Another way to get here is to hike an intrepid trail through the Zip Line, a system of 7 connected cables ranging from 150 to 700 meters in length for a total of 2800 meters.
The Skylodge offers the chance to sleep within a completely transparent hanging bedroom, that allows you to appreciate the impressive view of this mystical valley. Hand crafted out of aerospace aluminum and weather resistant polycarbonate, each suite comes complete with four beds, a dinning area and a private bathroom. Measuring 7 meters in length and 2,5 meters in height and width, the capsule suites feature six windows and four ventilation ducts that offer a comfortable atmosphere. Safety is insured by having the exit portal located in the upper part of the craft.
Packages includes breakfast & gourmet dinner with wine, transportation from Cuzco and professional bilingual guides.
If you want to try this out, first you have to book. Then someone from the stuff can pick you up from Cusco and then take you to the Sacred Valley. The drive is approximately 1 hour. From here your guide will give you the necessary equipment that you will need for the activities, as well as a safety talk before beginning your adventure.
For the full package Via Ferrata + Zipline + 1 night SKYLODGE/per person, you will spend 999,00 Soles (or 314 dollars).
